It's officially summer here in Los Angeles, and while the beach is always close, true locals are quite selective on when and where they choose to spend their time on the sand and in the water. Santa Monica and Venice Beach are great but summer means crowds....
This mix is our soundtrack for getting out and finding the more secluded spots within an easy drive (up or down PCH) of the obvious. So wherever you are, go explore and find your perfect piece of sand, a nice break and set up your own beach style...

Max took some of his favorite tracks from Nas, Brand Nubian, Pete Rock and CL Smooth, Cool C, Public Enemy and more. He blended them with new beats and breaks, mixed it all up and here we have his new theory of a classic hip hop style. Could this be a part one? Let's hope - enjoy!
